Memorabilia, as you could see, is the name of this blog. I've got the idea to name it Memorabilia when I was working on an Engineering Memorabilia Book when I started writing in this blog. And it sounds quite cool too.
'Memorabilia' comes from the word 'Memorable' (worth remembering), which means objects that are collected because they are connected with a person or event which is thought to be very interesting. (Cambridge Dictionary)
Alhamdulillah, praise be to Allah SWT for His Permission and Blessings that we have successfully published this IIUM Engineering Memorabila Book, Class of 2007, in December last year (2007). This 2nd edition of Engineering Memorabila book was published with the theme "Indelible Memories, Everlasting Friendships". We, the editors of this so-called Memorabilia, would like to convey our deepest gratitude to everyone who has contributed ideas, sacrificed their time and energy towards the accomplishment of the mission.
We also would like to apologize to everyone because of the slight delay. We have tried our best to make sure everyone is happy, and it is our great pleasure if everyone is satisfied with this end product. Finally, we wish everyone the very best in whatever they choose in the future, and may this small effort be a good medium for us to always keep in touch with each others.
